High intensity support scope

The High Intensity Daily Personal Activities registration is limited to the support types recorded in the certificate:

  • Complex bowel care
  • Enteral feeding and management
  • Tracheostomy management
  • Urinary catheter management
  • Ventilator management
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Complex wound management
  • Severe dysphagia management
  • Day-to-day medication management support
  • Disposal of infectious or hazardous waste

Participant safeguards

A condition applies to risk assessment and monitoring where a participant receiving personal support lives alone and chooses to be supported by a single worker.

Certification audit completion

Remaining elements of the certification audit must be assessed by an approved quality auditor after service delivery commences, in accordance with the registration conditions.

Supported Independent Living audit

Module 5A is to be assessed as part of the provider's mid-term audit. The supplied certificate schedules the mid-term audit start for 20 October 2027.
